When you know you're doing the right thing...

When do we truly know that we're doing the right thing?

Is it when we feel the surest in what we do? Or is it when we are the least sure? I'm trying to work out a decent answer to that one. At the moment, I am as unsure as I could possibly be, as to what the heck I'm doing with my current 'working' arrangements. A part of me is ready to just get hired for a regular job, for some months, so that I can stack up some decent paid work, and start to explore my other options from the safety of a more secure footing. Another part of me is ready to jump straight into the next job that I can find, so that at least I can start to earn an income. Then, from that place, start to live a more fluid and flexible life - depending on how successfully I manage to keep going.

Decisions, decisions... I wonder what would be a good way of dealing with this uncertainty related to work?? Perhaps by being in a more powerful place from which I can take action?

And what would that empowered place look like?
