Karachi price hikes...

It seems that even in Pakistan, which I always figured was a poor country, but with rich Islamic values, it seems 'economies' still have a part to play in it all.... I just came across this article which describes the rising prices, and the growing poverty...

I'm sure this picture is reflected the world over, every day - but the question is what can we do to make a sustainable change in these economies? Not relying on the world bank might be an option, living tax free might also be another option... But I'm sure, in time, we'll find a way that works, not just in theory, but in practice as well...
